Grocery items from nine Asian countries are available at Burwood Highway Asian Grocery in the Burwood Heights Shopping Centre.

Established in 2012, the store specialises in a large range of unique groceries from Malaysia, China, Singapore, Thailand, Japan, Korea, Vietnam, Indonesia and India.

The stock includes world renowned brands such as Lee Kum Kee, Amoy, Osha, Maggi, Ajinomoto, Obento, Ayam and others.

There’s the old favourites such as Malaysian spices, cake and coffee, barbecue platters Korean style, meatballs, fishballs, rice, coconut milk, fresh Korean and Malaysian noodles and a large variety of fresh Asian buns.

Speciality items include Malaysian coffee, Malaysian cake and traditional Asian Lunar New Year cookies.

The frozen section includes tofu, seafood, beef, hotpot and Japanese icecream.

Burwood Highway Asian Grocery also stock a range of Asian vegetables, Chinese broccoli and durians.

Other items include kitchenware such as bamboo steamers, pots and portable gas burners and health and beauty items including herbal trim tea, salonpas and tiger balm.

The shop is operated by Hong and her daughter Amanda and a friendly staff and is open daily from 9.30am until 8.30pm.
