Woolworths delivers a green and gold Christmas!

Locally made desserts filled with native ingredients and flavours from various regions across the country are among 80 new products being offered at Woolworths Burwood Heights that are designed to help customers enjoy the best of Australian made produce this festive season.

Woolworths has put the Aussie spirit at the heart of its Christmas range this year.

The entire Gold Christmas range of ham and desserts are Australian made and made to share, offering customers the opportunity to directly support family owned businesses when they shop in store or online. 

Perfect for entertaining the whole family, the new range of Woolworths Gold desserts feature a line of quality treats with delicious taste combinations, including honey, macadamias and lemon myrtle sourced from the Northern Rivers region of New South Wales. 

The range also supports local suppliers like Buonissimo Bakery in NSW, who produce the Gold Mini Dessert Selection, Gold Summer Berry & Chocolate Trifle, Gold Gin & Davidson Plum Fruit Mince Tarts and Gold White Chocolate & Macadamia Tarts, among others; and The Country Chef Bakery Co which creates the Gold Lemon Myrtle Meringues in the Sunshine Coast region. The Gold Hunter Valley Shiraz & Chocolate Pudding is made by Hunter Heritage Gourmet Foods, and features local family owned and operated First Creek Shiraz. 

The new range of Woolworths Gold products also features a Gold Free Range Triple Smoked Ham, supplied from a long-standing partner of more than 60 years, D’Orsogna from Perth in Western Australia and Sunpork in Queensland, while the Woolworths range of hams are sourced from Primo and Bertocchi in NSW. 

Woolworths Burwood Heights is open seven days a week from 6am until 11pm.
